OWA operates within a shared commercial facility. Our campus is an open, professional environment — not a locked-door school. Students are supervised during all scheduled program hours by OWA staff and coaches.

One World Academy is not a locked-door school. Our facility is a shared commercial space where other businesses operate. Additional staff, vendors, and visitors may be present during OWA program hours. Parents and guardians should be aware of this environment before enrolling their student.
OWA's Full Day program provides student-athletes with a structured morning workspace to complete coursework from their own homeschool or online academic program. OWA does not provide, manage, or oversee any academic curriculum. It is the sole responsibility of each family to enroll their student in an accredited homeschool or online academic program of their choice, cover all associated costs, and monitor their student's academic progress and outcomes.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: ONE WORLD ACADEMY IS AN OPEN CAMPUS. IT IS NOT A LOCKED-DOOR SCHOOL. ENROLLED PARTICIPANTS MAY VOLUNTARILY LEAVE THE PREMISES. OWA DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE PHYSICAL PRESENCE OR LOCATION OF PARTICIPANTS OUTSIDE OF SUPERVISED ACTIVITY TIME. BY COMPLETING ENROLLMENT, YOU ACCEPT THESE CONDITIONS WITHOUT RESERVATION.
This document constitutes a legally binding agreement. By proceeding with registration and payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms set forth below.
1. Nature of One World Academy — Open Campus & Shared Facility
ONE WORLD ACADEMY ("OWA") IS AN OPEN CAMPUS FACILITY. OWA IS NOT A LOCKED-DOOR SCHOOL, SECURED CAMPUS, OR CUSTODIAL INSTITUTION. The following conditions are material terms of enrollment and are non-negotiable:
- The doors at OWA are not locked. Participants may physically enter and exit the facility voluntarily during their time on premises. OWA does not control, restrict, or monitor all points of ingress and egress.
- Participants may leave the premises on their own volition. OWA does not maintain a closed or restricted-exit environment. A participant who chooses to leave OWA premises does so at their own risk and the risk of their parent or guardian.
- OWA operates within a shared commercial building. Suite 300 houses multiple businesses and organizations. Other business activity, staff, vendors, visitors, and members of the general public may be present on premises during OWA operating hours.
- OWA does not provide custodial supervision equivalent to a traditional school campus. OWA staff will provide reasonable supervision during scheduled, structured program activities only.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for their child at all times outside of scheduled supervised activities, including before or after sessions, during breaks, or whenever a participant has left the supervised activity area.
By enrolling, the parent or guardian expressly acknowledges, accepts, and agrees to these open-campus conditions as a fundamental and material condition of enrollment at OWA.
2. Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy
- Students are dropped off and left in the care of OWA staff during scheduled program hours only. OWA does not provide transportation to or from the facility.
- It is the parent's or guardian's sole responsibility to ensure timely drop-off and pick-up. OWA staff are not responsible for supervising participants outside of scheduled program hours.
- OWA is not liable for any incidents, injuries, or events that occur before the start or after the conclusion of a participant's scheduled program time, including any time spent waiting on premises.
- If a participant is not picked up within a reasonable time, OWA staff will attempt to contact the parent or guardian at the number on file. OWA's obligation is limited to reasonable good-faith efforts to make contact.
- If a participant voluntarily leaves OWA premises at any time, OWA bears no responsibility whatsoever for the safety, welfare, or whereabouts of that participant from the moment they depart the supervised activity area.
3. Open Campus Acknowledgment — Voluntary Departure of Participants
THIS SECTION IS CRITICAL. By completing enrollment, the parent or guardian explicitly and irrevocably acknowledges:
- OWA's facility has unlocked doors and unsecured exits. OWA does not operate in a manner that prevents participants from leaving the premises.
- OWA is not a school with a duty to detain. OWA has no legal authority or operational structure to physically prevent a participant from leaving the facility.
- A participant who leaves the premises voluntarily is entirely outside OWA's supervision, care, and control. OWA accepts no responsibility for any participant who has left OWA's facility.
- The parent or guardian has been fully informed of this open-campus structure and voluntarily chooses to enroll their child with full knowledge of and consent to these conditions.
- Any claim arising from a participant leaving the premises or from any incident occurring outside of OWA's supervised activity areas is hereby waived, released, and discharged to the fullest extent permitted by law.
4. Assumption of Risk — Physical Activity
The parent or guardian acknowledges that participation in OWA programs involves strenuous physical activity, including but not limited to:
- Basketball training, drills, scrimmages, and competitive play
- Strength and conditioning exercises
- Speed, agility, and athletic performance training
- General physical education, fitness activities, and sports performance programming
- Any other athletic or movement-based programming offered by OWA now or in the future
Physical activities of this nature carry inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to sprains, strains, fractures, contusions, concussions, heat-related illness, cardiovascular events, and other serious or catastrophic injury, up to and including death. The parent or guardian voluntarily and knowingly assumes all such risks on behalf of the enrolled participant.
The parent or guardian represents that, to the best of their knowledge, the participant is physically capable of participating in vigorous athletic activity and does not have any medical condition that would make such participation inadvisable. It is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian to inform OWA staff of any relevant medical conditions, physical limitations, or physician restrictions prior to the participant's first session.
5. Academic Responsibility — Full Day Program
OWA's Full Day program provides a structured on-site workspace during morning hours for students to complete coursework from their own homeschool or online academic program. One World Academy does not provide, supervise, direct, or take responsibility for any academic curriculum, instruction, or outcomes.
- It is the sole responsibility of the family to enroll the student in an accredited homeschool or online academic program of their choosing.
- All financial costs associated with that academic program are the exclusive responsibility of the family.
- OWA has no role in monitoring, directing, or ensuring the student's academic progress or success.
- OWA is not liable for any academic deficiencies, outcomes, or issues arising from the student's chosen academic program.
- The family accepts full and sole responsibility for the academic component of the student's education.
6. Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims & Covenant Not to Sue
In consideration of the participant's enrollment in OWA programs, and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the parent or guardian hereby RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES, AND FOREVER RELINQUISHES all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, and liability; COVENANTS NOT TO SUE any Released Party; and INDEMNIFIES AND HOLDS HARMLESS all Released Parties from any claims arising from:
- Participation in any OWA program, activity, training session, competition, or event
- Use of OWA's facility, equipment, court surfaces, weight room, or any shared areas of the building
- The open-campus and shared-facility nature of OWA's operating environment
- Any incident arising from a participant voluntarily leaving or departing OWA's premises or supervised activity area
- Any act, omission, or negligence of the Released Parties, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct
- Any incident occurring during drop-off, pick-up, or outside of scheduled supervised program hours
"Released Parties" means: One World Academy (OWA); One World Youth Organization (OWYO); Taylor Rochestie, individually and in his capacity as Founder and Chief Executive Officer of OWA; and each of their respective owners, officers, directors, employees, coaches, trainers, contractors, volunteers, agents, successors, and assigns.
7. Indemnification
The parent or guardian agrees to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, costs, expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees), damages, or liability arising from: (i) the participant's enrollment or participation in OWA programs; (ii) any voluntary departure of the participant from OWA premises; (iii) any breach of this Agreement; or (iv) any misrepresentation made in connection with enrollment.
8. Medical Authorization
In the event of a medical emergency and if the parent or guardian cannot be reached after reasonable attempts, the parent or guardian hereby authorizes OWA staff to seek emergency medical treatment for the participant. The parent or guardian agrees to be solely and fully financially responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY RELEASED PARTY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY KIND. OWA's total aggregate liability for any claim arising under this Agreement, if any, shall not exceed the total enrollment fees paid by the parent or guardian for the applicable program term.
10. Photo & Media Release
OWA may photograph or record participants during training sessions, competitions, and events for use in marketing materials, social media, website content, and promotional purposes. By enrolling, the parent or guardian grants OWA and OWYO a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use such images or recordings. If you do not consent, please notify OWA in writing at the time of enrollment.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Fort Bend County or Harris County, Texas. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
12. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior discussions or representations. This Agreement may not be modified except by a written instrument signed by an authorized representative of OWA.
