COACH CORA SEK

  • COACH CORA SEK

Cora Sek is an elite Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete and wrestler with over a decade of training and competition experience. Her journey has been defined by discipline, resilience, and a commitment to excellence, earning her opportunities to compete in the 2023 and 2025 SEA Games and the honor of preparing to represent the Cambodian National Team in Jiu-Jitsu in 2026.

Throughout her career, Cora has experienced firsthand the challenges of being a young woman in male-dominated sports. At times, it was difficult to find female training partners who could push her to her highest potential. This inspired her to create an environment where women feel supported, empowered, and safe—where they can train with confidence, develop strength, and discover just how far they can go. She aims to be an open door for women of all levels to build not only their physical abilities but also their self-belief. She has a personal coaching style that prioritizes building strong relationships with everyone she works with. She focuses on understanding each individual’s goals, strengths, and challenges, allowing her to provide a personalized approach that meets their unique needs and helps them achieve their full potential.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Administration from the University of Houston, Cora combines academic expertise with years of athletic experience to design effective programs for combat athletes and women looking to become the best versions of themselves—both mentally and physically.
